Just outside the city, the Sri City integrated business park has become a major electronics and auto-component manufacturing SEZ, attracting global manufacturers and adding an entirely separate industrial demand layer. IIT Tirupati adds a growing engineering talent base to a city that, a decade ago, had almost none.
