Cost to Build an iOS App in 2026

Native iOS app development cost in India for 2026 — MVP through enterprise, and why native-only iOS usually costs more than cross-platform.

Quick answer: a native iOS-only app costs around ₹3–6 lakh for an MVP, ₹10–22 lakh for mid-complexity, and ₹25–55 lakh+ for enterprise — higher than Flutter/React Native because you're not sharing engineering effort with Android.

Native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) still makes sense in specific cases: apps that lean heavily on brand-new Apple platform features on day one, apps with extremely performance-sensitive graphics or AR, or teams that have already committed to a native-only roadmap. For everything else, cross-platform gets you to the same App Store listing for meaningfully less.

Cost breakdown

  • MVP (₹3–6 lakh): one core flow, native App Store submission, basic backend.
  • Mid-complexity (₹10–22 lakh): payments, push notifications, richer navigation, admin dashboard.
  • Enterprise (₹25–55 lakh+): deep iOS SDK integrations, offline sync, complex state management at scale.

The Android question

If you'll eventually need Android too, ask whether native-only iOS is actually the right call — building the same product twice (native iOS + native Android) roughly doubles engineering cost versus one Flutter or React Native codebase covering both. We'll give you a straight answer on which approach fits your actual roadmap, not just this one build.
